Remunera provides an innovative and advanced fuel management and payment solution that enables corporations to design, deploy and manage corporate fleet fuel plans more efficiently than traditional fuel coupons/vouchers or prepaid fleet cards. The service is based on a smartphone application and a cloud-based platform for transaction processing, billing, invoicing and reporting. The platform uniquely identifies the driver, the vehicle and the location of the fueling station and does not require any special hardware on a car tank or gas pump in order to be deployed.

How it works
Driver arrives at the station, and using the Remunera mobile application, enters digits from odometer. The information is then sent to the Remunera platform for verification and processing. The platform checks for company policy, car and driver verification, and fraud detection. The mobile app then displays a unique 5-digit approval code. Next, the driver enters this code to the fuel pump, which in turn opens. Once the car fueling is complete, the data from the pump is automatically sent to Remunera for reporting and consolidation.
Fraud prevention
The Remunera fueling management and payment solution is based on a mobile application and a cloud-based platform. Using a sophisticated patented algorithm, the mobile app can uniquely identify the driver, the fueling car and the fueling station, thus ensuring the fuel is being used by the intended driver for the intended purpose. If fuel fraud is detected or suspected, the platform will promptly notify the designated corporate personnel.

The platform includes an employee engagement channel. Fuel merchants use the engagement channel to offer drivers complementary services like car wash and oil change, as well as discounts or promotions on products from convenience stores at the fuel stations.
